Jaimie Lake is a Chicago-based idea expert and artist.
In 2011, she earned her BFA from the Communication Arts Department of the humid but beautiful Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). With Illustration and Graphic Design being her focus, recent endeavors include curating digital atmospheres through visual communication by enforcing brand identity.
In 2014, Jaimie founded the online concept store VELVIT, which broadened her global network of artists, designers, journalists, and agents. By growing a global network, she saw community networking as an opportunity in Chicago. In 2015, she co-founded The Inside Outfit with two other creative professional women in the Chicago community.
Jaimie's design, collaborative, and business experience has allowed her to broaden her skills and contribute to a variety of projects; ranging from brand and business consulting, to film producing and directing. Of all her roles, assisting businesses grow through Creative Direction has been her favorite. Through creative brand strategy and utilizing company culture, she's been able to help companies find their identities and build brand equity in their market. Her diversified clientele has been her biggest asset in continued education and developing as a creative . Outside of her career, she's kicking ass competing in the art of MMA fighting; through Muay Thai, BJJ, and Hapkido.
