Jaimie Lake is a Chicago-based creative strategist and designer.

In 2011, she earned her BFA from the Communication Arts Department from the haunting and beautiful Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). With Illustration and Graphic Design as Jaimie's focus, her recent endeavors include curating digital and textile experiences through visual communication and creative brand strategy.

In 2014, Jaimie founded the online concept store VELVIT, which broadened her global network of talent, including but not limited to artists, designers, journalists, and agents. By building her global network, she saw community networking as an opportunity in Chicago. In 2015, she co-founded The Inside Outfit pop-up with two other creative professional Chicago women.

Jaimie's experiences have earned her various positions in creative processes, ranging from brand and business strategy consulting to film production and directing. Of all her roles, Creative Strategy and Art Direction have been her favorites, as she enjoys working cross-functionally with other teams, having the opportunity to help organizations find their identities, and building brand equity in their markets. Her work in various industries has been an asset in challenging clients on how design influences business. Her core belief is that carefully crafted brand management can lay the foundation for collaboration while bringing organizations a competitive edge.

Outside of her career, she's kicking ass competing in Muay Thai in the national amateur circuit.
